- Filing AES

The requirement is that the AES must be filed before the 72-hour notice. And, along with the worksheet, the EIN, IRS or the DUNS number from the seller must be attached to file the AES.

Submitting all the significant documents to the CBP is an important stage of the process, to import a car to Canada from the US. And, this must be done at least 72 hours prior to the export. At the time of exit from the US, the owner or agent must submit the original documents and the vehicle to the customs at the port in person. You need to provide documents such as an Individual Tax Number, US customs vehicle export worksheet and a copy of the bill of sale.
