In brief, the movie ‘and the oscar goes to…’ is a journey of an enthusiastic passionate filmmaker Issak Ebrahem (Tovino Thomas) who wants to prove himself as a well known director by facing multiple scenarios.
Story
The movie begins with an intro of Mammootty film which is playing in the theater. The theater is next behind the hospital where Issak Ebrahem has taken birth. From his birth he was very intense about movies. Days passed Issak’s the zeal towards movies grown with him. His main motive is to become a well successful director, and starts his career by putting down small scripts to the shows.
He takes a decision of making and producing a film as if no producer is ready for making a film with Issak. He came with a sensible script of a real life character which he has seen in his childhood. Everything goes well with the struggle of a filmmaker in terms of finance to distribution, Issak goes through a series of problems to get his movie released.
At last the movie has been released. Unfortunately the movie got selected as India’s entry to Oscars. What happens next? Did his financial support help him to promote his film in abroad? Did Issak receive the Oscar finally?
